Questions about The Base Midtown Phuket
Is this the same as The Base Downtown Phuket?
No. The Base Downtown is a different Sansiri project in Wichit, finished in 2014, and it trades on the resale market. Midtown is a new build in Sam Kong that has not started construction. Phuket also has The Base Uptown, Central, Bukit, Height, Rise and Cherngtalay — a whole family of namesakes, and search engines mix them up constantly.
Can a foreigner own an apartment here?
Yes. Thai condominium law lets foreigners own up to 49% of a building's saleable area outright, in their own name, with a title deed. At The Base Midtown that quota is open as a price list of 58 apartments from ฿3,100,000 — a foreign buyer can own any of them freehold.
Where can I see prices for specific apartments?
On the price page: the list of 24 September 2026, 58 foreign-quota apartments from ฿3,100,000 to ฿7,210,000, each with its unit number, floor, view and payment schedule. The list changes as units sell, so we re-check it before any booking.
How large is the smallest apartment really?
26.75 m² — layout 1Am, one bedroom with a separate sleeping area, a kitchen line and a balcony. The plan is on the floor plans page, drawn to scale with furniture. It is small, and seeing it at full size before you decide is the point of that page.
What happens if the EIA is rejected?
For a project of this size in an urban district, approval is routine rather than uncertain, but the timeline can slip. A Thai reservation agreement normally provides for the return of the booking fee if the project does not proceed — read that clause specifically, and ask for it in writing before paying.
